Browsers

                                                              Google Chrome

Google Chrome is an extremely popular browser among the students of our class with the highest amount of users. It is quite fast compared to the other browsers that I looked at and seems to be widely used by a variety of internet users for a number of browsing tasks. Its fairly stable, secure and seems to keep things simple while offering useful options.

                                                             Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is also a popular web browser but doesn't seem to be as widely used in this class. It's a good light-weight browser in my opinion and personally I have only ever had minor problems when it came to performing tasks. All round it seems to be fairly secure and can be customized by each user. I think it is well laid out, easy to use and put it on the same level as Chrome.

                                                                      Opera

Opera is a new browser to me and I have no experience with it. After looking at several reviews, it seem's to be a reasonably tidy browser but I think it looks rather resource intensive. It seems to have a lot of fancy additions that may make it more enjoyable for certain people to use but nothing that really appeals to me personally. Apparently there have also been numerous compatibility issues with this browser as well which seemed to lead to it receiving a lower score.
